Requirements: The merchant needs to provide an existing WhatsApp business number that is not currently connected to another partner (app or 3rd party).
Head to Dondy: WhatsApp Page under step by step guide click step 2. Connect WhatsApp
Log in With Facebook (complete embedded signup) and Continue
1. You will be prompted to select Portfolio and Whatsapp Account you wish to use.
If you wish to connect your existing Whatsapp business number, opt for Connect a WhatsApp Business App and follow the instructions:
2. Add phone number
3. Receive message from Facebook Business to connect to Business Platform
4. Share chats & contact history
5. Scan QR code in Whatsapp Business app (or use access code) - Should see “Connecting…may take up to 45 seconds”.
6. Add time zone & continue
Once completing form click CONFIRM & FINISH and head to Meta Business Suite to add payment method.
HOW TO RECONNECT
(if app was not used for 2 weeks - Dondy as partner will automatically disconnect)
Steps:
- head to Dondy App > Settings> Under WhatsApp API setup menu > Disconnect
2. click on the API SETUP BUTTON to reconnect and follow the steps presented above
