This guide walks you through connecting a new WhatsApp number to Dondy, one that doesn’t have any WhatsApp account (personal or business) currently connected to. This could be a Virtual number/E-sim/Land line..)
Connect to WhatsApp
- From the Dondy App homepage, follow the setup stepper Step 2 and click Connect to WhatsApp.
- Log in with Facebook, then click Continue.
- Choose your Business portfolio. If you already have a verified one, select it. If not, choose another available portfolio or create a new one.
- Select Create a WhatsApp Account & click Continue.
Step 4 might look like this for some Users. Choose Start with a new WhatsApp phone number
Add Your Business Details
- Fill out your business information. Make sure the Business name matches exactly everywhere.
- Select your country and time zone.
Verify Your Number
- Choose the option for using a new number
- Enter your country code and phone number & click Next
- Wait for the 6-digit code (OTP) from Meta, you can receive it by SMS or phone call.
- Enter the code and click Continue.
- Confirm to connect the number to your account, then click Finish.
