How to use a Display name (Free Meta Number) to connect to Dondy – Dondy

This guide walks you through connecting a Display name to Dondy using a free number you can receive from Meta (starts with +1555)

Requirements: You Business Manager Portfolio must be verified and it’s name must match the WhatsApp account name (Identically). To make sure if you are verified Head to Security Center

For example: If Portfolio verified by name of Simon Shoe Brand, the WhatsApp account Display name you enter during setup must be = Simon Shoe Brand.

Connect to WhatsApp

From the Dondy App homepage, follow the setup stepper Step 2 and click Connect to WhatsApp.

Log in with Facebook, then click Continue.

Choose your Business portfolio. If you already have a verified one, select it. If not, choose another available portfolio or create a new one.

Select Create a WhatsApp Account & click Continue.

Step 4 might look like this for some Users. Choose Start with a new WhatsApp phone number

Add Your Business Details

Fill out your business information. Make sure the Business name matches exactly everywhere.

Select your country and time zone.

Verify Your Number

Choose Use Display name only & click Next

Confirm to connect the number to your account, then click Finish.

To check the number you Received from Meta head to Meta Business Suite > WhatsApp Accounts > Phone numbers

Once your Number is Connected (green), you will be able to start sending messages with the free meta number.
