Show where to edit the linked number, diagnose wrong or invalid destinations, and verify the storefront behavior.
If your store’s WhatsApp button opens a chat with the wrong number, you can update the number in the Dondy app. After saving the change, test the button on your storefront to make sure customers reach the correct account.
Update the WhatsApp number
- In your Shopify admin, open Dondy: WhatsApp → WhatsApp button.
- Find the Phone Number field.
- Select the correct country, then replace the existing number with the WhatsApp number you want customers to contact.
- Save your changes.
